25hours x Pragmatic Poetry Tour 2025

Raphael Lepenies has been writing essays and “painting with words” for almost ten years—short, poetic texts that now reach over 90,000 people. In essays, poetry, and sketches, he explores life’s big questions: the search for meaning, self-discovery, and longing. With his Pragmatic Poetry series and the BoD bestseller Life is Terribly Beautiful, he presents these themes both pointedly and emotionally—on paper as well as on social media.

A central motif of his work is the question of how we set boundaries while also creating space for closeness and relationships without losing ourselves. In addition to his work as an author, Lepenies was active for many years as a systemic coach and has been enriching cultural events with readings, moderations, and talks since 2018.

As part of the 25hours x Pragmatic Poetry Tour 2025, Raphael Lepenies will read live from his books. The events are moderated by Emma Böbbis and accompanied musically by Felix Dreiser. Just come by, listen, immerse yourself, and let the words take effect.
