Arrival & Departure
Check-in / check-out
Our rooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and until 12 noon on the day of departure. If you need to get a little more sleep, then a later check out time can be agreed with reception the day before. We will do our best to accommodate you depending on availability. Reception is staffed 25 hours a day.
Guest feedback
Was everything OK? We’d love to hear your feedback, either in person or online (such as on Google, tripadvisor.com or holidaycheck.com). Not only does your review help us improve, it also helps future guests when they are choosing a hotel. If you experienced problems or you find something in need of urgent repair, then please contact our hotel director by email (gm.royalbavarian@25hours-hotels.com).
Public transport
Tickets for public transport are available at every station. Our tip: If you are travelling as a group of 2 or more people, then the Inner City Group Day Ticket(“Gruppen-Tageskarte Innenraum”) is your best value option.
Airport transfer
Munich Airport (munich-airport.de) is located approximately 40 km away from Munich. Travelling by taxi takes around 40 minutes (prices starting at EUR 69). With a little advance notice, we would be happy to order a car for you. You can also take a direct train that takes about 45 minutes. Take the S8 or S1 (towards Munich Airport).
Parking
Parking on the street is not recommended. Parking spaces are available in nearby multi-storey car parks:

In the room
Soeder
On your room, you’ll find our Soeder natural cosmetics — gentle on your skin and kind to the planet. The best part? All products are refillable and available in our shop in convenient refill bottles.
Heating and air conditioning
You can change your room’s heating settings to set the ideal temperature. The control unit is self-explanatory; On the upper right, you can regulate the air supply flow, and the dial below allows you to set the desired temperature. Please ensure that all windows are closed.
Music
A Bluetooth speaker is waiting for you. Simply connect to it using a Bluetooth capable device and enjoy the music. You are also welcome to take the speaker with you when you go out — please just make sure you return it to the room before checking out.
The bag in your room
Forgotten your shopping bag or laptop case? No problem! Just use the FREITAG or canvasco bag in your room. Would you like to buy the bag? These bags and other models are available to buy downstairs in the 25hours things shop.
Privacy
Hang the “Please do not disturb” sign outside your door and we won’t bother you. Please note that your room will not be serviced if the sign is still there by 6pm. If you also need some peace and quiet when you’re back at home, then you can buy the door sign from our 25hours things shop.
Telephone
To call another room in the hotel, simply dial the three-digit room number. To call an outside number, first dial 0, then the number you wish to call.
Eating and drinking in the room
A 12% discount is available on food bought in the NENI restaurant that you pick up yourself to eat in your room. You can easily place your order by phone on 561 (NENI) and pick it up a short while later from the restaurant on the ground floor. In the mood for Asian food or a kebab? Also not a problem. Reception will be happy to recommend a nearby delivery service.
Food & Drinks
NENI Munich
The Middle East meets Munich. NENI offers a world cuisine with many different influences. The concept by Haya Molcho and her sons builds on a communal philosophy of sharing dishes. Reflecting the overall style of 25hours, the service is informal and personal. Reservations are advised. The easiest way to book a table is on the NENI Website.
The Boilerman Bar
The Boilerman Bar on the first floor attracts both locals and tourists alike. The bar concept by Hamburg bar virtuoso Jörg Meyer has found a new home in Munich. The main attractions are the typical highballs: uncomplicated drinks of the highest quality, served in frozen glasses. It is also home to what is possibly the biggest selection of whiskies in the city.

Good morning! A generous breakfast buffet is available at the NENI restaurant on the ground floor.

Bikes
Whether for shopping in the city centre, enjoying the English Garden or going for a picnic on the banks ofthe Isar — a rental bike from Schindelhauer Bikes is a relaxing way to explore the Bavarian capital. Information about rentals, the different models available and frame sizes is available at reception. A city map including cycle routes is also included. And so that you can take everything you need with you, FREITAG or canvasco bags are available in the room.

25hours things shop
A lifesaver can be found next to the reception on the first floor. Forgotten your toothpaste? Looking for a souvenir? The 25hours things shop is open 25/7 and, along with local products, you can also buy our own shower gel, doorhangers, cuddly toy animals and bed linen to take home with you. So off you go, browse away!
Fitness
On the 4th floor, there is also an excellent gym. If you don’t want to break a sweat outside, you can wear yourself out here instead. Open 25/7.
Sauna
Guests can use the sauna and quiet zone on the 4th floor free of charge, including the samova tea maker. A sauna bag with slippers and a bathrobe is available from reception.
Meetings & events
Looking to throw a surprise party for someone? Give your team a talking to? Present your new hand-held vacuum cleaner to potential customers? Our Muschelkammer function room and other areas of the hotel are available for all kinds of events.

Jogging corner
Training for your next marathon, or do you just want to go for a short jog? From 6am to 12 noon daily, towels are available from reception along with small maps of the local area showing various jogging routes, and water. So, off you go!
Internet
Blazing-fast Internet is available free of charge at 25hours. Open the login page from your usual webbrowser. Simply accept the terms and conditions of use to get online. Data packages for while you’re out and about are available from reception.
Wake-up call
A wake-up call service is available upon request. Simply inform reception before you go to bed that you would like a call.
Out of juice?
Has your smartphone or tablet battery run out and you haven’t got any time to charge it? Mobile phone chargers and powerbanks are available to borrow free of charge from reception.
25hours vouchers
The 25hours voucher cards in various designs can be loaded with any value and are redeemable in all 25hours hotels and participating restaurants and bars. Just ask at the kiosk or reception. Print-at-home vouchers are available on our website.
Umbrella
Rain makes everything shine. If you’d rather stay dry when the heavens open, you’re welcome to borrow an umbrella from reception.
Spotlight Events
Our Spotlight Events are a highlight at the 25hours Hotel The Royal Bavarian! These regular, free, and publicly accessible events offer something special for everyone. From creative workshops to concerts, live performances, and even yoga sessions — the variety ensures there’s always something exciting. Come and experience unique moments in a relaxed atmosphere! You can find out when the next event is happening on the flyers and posters in the hotel or on our website.
Laundry
Items of clothing handed over to reception before 9am will be washed by 6pm the same day (except Sat, Sun and public holidays). For price list and a laundry bag as well as iron and/or ironing board, just ask at the reception.
Practical info
Evacuation
In an emergency, please remain calm and follow the instructions given by hotel staff. Escape routes are shown on your room door. Please immediately make your way to the assembly point on Schützenstrasse next to the eintrance of the Aperitivo Bar.
Munich tap water
The tap water in Munich is perfectly safe to drink and tastes great.
Smoking
Smoking isn’t allowed anywhere in our hotel. Please be advised that we will charge an additional cleaning fee (from EUR 150) if you smoke in your room.
