Check-in / check-out

Our cabins are available from 3pm on the day of arrival until 12pm on the day of departure. If you’re hoping for a lie-in, a late check-out is possible and subject to availability. Please contact the front desk the day before your departure. Our colleagues are available 25 hours a day.

Guest feedback

How did we do? We’re always happy to receive feedback, either in person or online (for example on tripadvisor.com or holidaycheck.com). Your review isn’t just useful for us, but also helps future guests choose their hotel. If anything went wrong or needs repairing urgently, you can also email our General Manager at gm.hafencity@25hours-hotels.com.

Airport transfer

Hamburg Airport is about 12 km away. The best way to reach the airport is by public transport. Take the U4 from Überseequartier towards Berliner Tor. Then change there and take the S1 (the first three cars) towards Airport / Poppenbüttel until you reach the airport.

Parking

Parking is available in the underground car park Überseequartier/ Überseeallee 3 and is situated directly below the hotel. Use the “25hours Hotel HafenCity” exit to reach the hotel. EUR 3 per started hour EUR 28 per day (24 hours), open 24 hours

Public transport

Tickets for public transport can be purchased at every station. A little tip: Group day tickets are worth it from as little as two people. A HamburgCard can be purchased at reception.The closest metro station is called “Überseequartier” and is just in front of the hotel. Busline 111 stops right in front of the 25hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt on Osakaallee.

Our handcrafted Soeder soaps from Zurich pamper you with 100% natural ingredients and stylish design. Enjoy them during your stay — and take them home from the 25hours things shop.

Air conditioning

The cabins are set up to be individually set to your optimum temperature. The thermostat control is virtually self-explanatory: turn it on at the top. Push the button multiple times to set the fan strength. Turn the knob to set the temperature.

Music

Your hotel room is equipped with a Bluetooth speaker. Simply connect your Bluetooth enabled device. And yes: do not hesitate to take the speaker out.

The bag in your room

Forgotten your shopping bag or laptop case? No problem! Just use the canvasco bag in your room. Want to buy one for yourself? They are for sale at the shop in our lobby along with other models.

Privacy

If the “Do not disturb” sign is hanging on the door, we’ll let you have your well-deserved privacy. Please note that your room will not be cleaned if the sign is still hanging on the outside of the door at 2pm. If ever you want to be left in peace when you’re back home, you can buy the door hanger at the kiosk.

Telephone

For external calls, dial 0 followed by the number. You can call the reception on 800 and the restaurant on 842.

Eating and drinking in the room

There is a 12% pick-up discount for meals that are to be taken up to your room from the heimat restaurant. You can simply place your order by calling 842 and then pick it up from the restaurant on the ground floor a short time later. Fancy spaghetti or pizza? No problem. The reception can recommend a takeaway service nearby.

Our restaurant on the ground floor is the HafenCity’s living room. The plates are filled with natural produce from regional soil (and of course water) and transformed into refined dishes.

The kitchen is open until 10.30pm.

NENI Hamburg

The Middle East meets Hamburg at our neighbouring 25hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt. NENI is a culinary mosaic of Persian, Russian, Arab, Moroccan, Israeli, Turkish, Spanish, German and Austrian influences. Sharing the dishes is a vital part of the Molcho family’s kitchen concept. Reflecting the overall style of 25hours, the service is informal and personal.

The Boilerman Bar

The Boilerman Bar in the former chartroom of the listed building is a popular meeting place both for locals and travellers. The Boilerman concept from Hamburg Eppendorf is well known in the city and has it’s stage inthe HafenCity. The main actors are the typical highballs. Top quality, straightforward drinks served in frozen glasses. In addition — as the bar is close to the harbour — it possibly has the largest rum selection in the city.

Breakfast buffet

Good morning! In our heimat restaurant we’ve got a substantial breakfast buffet for EUR 26 per person.
Mon – Fri 6.30am – 10.30am
Sat + Sun + holidays 7am – 11.30am

Those in a hurry can also get a grab & go breakfast for EUR 7 per person. Just ask the restaurant staff for a take-away bag. For breakfast at the neighbouring NENI Hamburg, contact reception in advance.

Bikes

Fancy going shopping downtown, exploring the HafenCity or having a picnic down by the Elbe River? The Schindelhauer bikes are perfect for a spin around Hamburg. Information about rental, different models and frame sizes is available at the shop. A map showing various cycling routes through the city is also thrown in. You can borrow the canvasco bag from your room to put all your things in for the ride. The bikes are hired out on a first come, first served basis.

25hours things shop

A lifesaver can be found next to the reception on the ground floor. Forgotten your toothpaste? Looking for a souvenir? The 25hours things shop is open 25/7 and, along with local products, you can also buy our own shower gel, door hangers, cuddly toy animals and bed linen to take home with you. So off you go, browse away!

Harbour Sauna

The use of the harbour sauna on the 6th floor is free-of-charge for our guests. You will get a sauna bag with the necessary equipment downstairs at the reception.
3 – 12am.
We are also happy to heat the sauna earlier upon request.

Fitness

Guests of 25hours can use the neighbouring “Primetime fitness” gym free of charge. Simply stop by our reception desk and ask for a wristband.

Jogging corner

Training for the next marathon or just need aquick run round the block? Towels, water and maps of the local area with various jogging routes are available in the lobby every day from 6am to 12am. On your marks, get set, go!

Internet

Blazing-fast internet is free of charge at 25hours. The registration screen should pop up in your normal browser — just accept the terms and conditions and off you go. Get free mobile hotspot at reception.

Wake-up call

We can give you a wake-up call whenever you like! Just let the reception know before you go to sleep.

25hours vouchers

The 25hours voucher cards in various designs can be loaded with any value and are redeemable in all 25hours hotels and participating restaurants and bars. Just ask at the kiosk or reception. Print-at-home vouchers are available on our website.

Bad weather

Rain is good. If you want to defy the bad weather, you can borrow an original “Friesennerz” raincoat from reception. There are also umbrellas.

Laundry

Clothes handed in to the front desk by 9am Mon – Fri will be ready by 7pm the same day. For price list and a laundry bag as well as iron and/or ironing board, just ask at the reception.

Power bank

Your smartphone or tablet is out of battery and you have no time to charge it in your room? Rent a free-of-charge power bank at reception.

Supersense Pinball

Smash the high score! Those with restless hands can find our retro ’90s pinball machine in the Radio Room on the first floor. Any pros who can beat the score of 2,500,000 points will be rewarded with a Polaroid picture. All proceeds are donated to charitable organisations in the Hamburg region.

Vinyl Room

With almost 1,500 records THE place to be for vinyl aficionados. The Vinyl Room on the 1st floor is open daily.

Radio Room

On ships and in sailor’s homes, the radio room is the communication centre. Need to work or make a phone call in privacy? Simply take a seat and use the space. Our Business Centre is one floor up and is open 25hours a day.

Message in a bottle

Be it a love letter, a to-do list, or feedback; put it down on paper. Be creative and get stamping and punching away on our typewriters. The typewriter workshop can be found on the 1st floor at the club floor. Reception will be happy to take care of postage for you.

Photo Booth

Smile! We have a photo booth in our Radio Room on the first floor to capture the perfect memento!

Evacuation

If there is an emergency, please remain calm and follow the instructions given by the hotel staff. You can find the escape plan on the door of your room. Please make your way to the assembly point using the most direct route. The assembly point is on the opposite side of Osakaallee before the bridge over the Magdeburger Hafen.

Hamburg tap water

Tap water in Hamburg can be enjoyed without a second thought.

Smoking

Our hotel is a no-smoking zone. Anyone found to have been smoking in their room will be charged EUR 150 for additional cleaning.
