Cuddly Cod

your local fish friend — splashing through the city

It’s all go — splash, play, and explore!

Hi, I’m Cuddly Cod – and when I’m not snoozing on a pillow or posing for photos, I love to explore the city with little guests. Copenhagen has plenty of kid-friendly spots where you can run, climb, splash or just have a snack.

—Experimentarium. A hands-on science centre with bubbles, light tunnels and the world’s coolest water playground. Even grown-ups love it.
Tuborg Havnevej 7, 2900 Hellerup

— Zoologisk Have. A big, green zoo right in the city. Say hi to pandas, elephants, and the polar bears. I wave to the penguins
Roskildevej 32, 2000 Frederiksberg.

— Fælledparken Playgrounds. Massive playgrounds with climbing frames, swings, water zones, and even a traffic school for kids on bikes.
2100 København Ø

— Tivoli Gardens. Rides, lights, games and candy floss. Need I say more? I once won a giant plush shark. Still scared of it.
Vesterbrogade 3, 1630 København

Feed the little humans — and maybe me

After all that exploring, tummies start to rumble. These places are perfect for a tasty break (and maybe a juice box or two).

— Broens Street Food. Right next to the hotel. Lots of different stands, so everyone gets what they like. Burgers, tacos, ice cream – you name it.
Strandgade 95, 1401 København K

— Reffen Street Food. A huge outdoor food market with food trucks from all over the world. Perfect for picky eaters and adventurous ones too.
Refshalevej 167A, 1432 København

For little minds that love to learn

I may be made of fluff, but I love museums too. These ones are just right for curious kids and their grown-ups.

— Copenhagen Contemporary. Big art, bright colours and wide open spaces – right near the hotel. It’s okay to move around, and even better when you spot something weird.
Refshalevej 173A, 1432 København

— National Museum of Denmark (Children’s Museum). Try on Viking clothes, play old games, and see what Danish life was like before TV remotes. Kids can touch almost everything.
Ny Vestergade 10, 1471 København K

— The Blue Planet (Den Blå Planet). Northern Europe’s largest aquarium. I have friends there. Say hi to the stingrays for me.
Jacob Fortlingsvej 1, 2770 Kastrup

Bonus tip from Cuddly Cod

Pick up a Christiania cargo bike at the hotel. It’s fun to ride and there’s space in front for a kid or even a cod (if I ask nicely). Don’t forget sunscreen, snacks, and someone to race.
