Hotelier — always likes to come back to Berlin

Not to be missed…

Muret la Barba is the epitome of a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant in Mitte. Italian dishes such as pasta and risotto are served on long wooden tables nestled amongst wine racks. Be sure to drop by if you’re out and about in Mitte.

Food & Drink

I like to take my companions to the Grill Royal. In addition to outstanding steaks, the atmosphere is casually chic. The clientele is stylish and you even come across famous personalities from time to time, but it remains easy-going.

A taste of France

The Paris Bar is an institution and a meeting place for the art and film scene. With its art-covered walls, the bar is the ideal place to enjoy relaxed chats over a glass of red wine in the afternoons, and in the evenings it’s a great spot for a wild dinner with friends. It’s my favourite place in Charlottenburg.

Friendly chaos

Haya’s eclectic international cuisine appealed to me straight away and NENI Berlin is always worth a visit, and not just for its phenomenal view. The informal atmosphere and the way food is eaten ‘Balagan-style’ — all the dishes are placed in the centre of the table and shared — never ceases to delight me every time I go.
