Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner…
Those who need a little break before or in between shopping and sightseeing can find the perfect respite at Café Paris. Bienvenue á Café Paris – a little piece of France in Hamburg. Close to the Hamburg Town Hall, Café Paris entices visitors to come and eat breakfast like “God in France”, or to enjoy lunch in a vibrant, bustling, cosmopolitan atmosphere. The high-ceiling, tiled, art nouveau-style rooms are a treat for the eye and the excellent French cuisine will delight your belly. We recommend the Tartare Café Paris — made just as you like it, right at your table.

Down by the water
Avoiding water in Hamburg is impossible. Beside a relaxing walk around the Alster, you must hire one of our bikes and cycle to the Entenwerder pontoon. The cycle path behind the Deichtorhallen is a great place to start a bike tour along the Elbe through Entenwerder Park. Finish your tour with a coffee in the delightful Café Entenwerder 1 at the South-East corner of the park.

Get to know Hamburg
If you want to experience Hamburg from the water, make sure to check out the Baakenhafen in HafenCity. Between modern buildings and old quay walls, pike and perch are on the move. Anglers love the current edges along the walls — and if you’re just watching, you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of maritime calm and bustling city life.
