Lucus designs bar evenings with a clear focus on rhythm, groove and movement. His house-inspired sets, played on vinyl, build tension organically and charge the room with a constant, danceable drive. He has also been active as an event organiser since 2015 and attaches great importance to conveying the origins of electronic music styles through his music selection – such as the roots of house, which emerged in Chicago in the 1980s. His sets combine these historical references with a contemporary sound that is always reduced, focused and space-oriented.
