Of course I recommend my Hotel Magic Show, which takes place monthly in the 25hours Hotel The Circle and ends with a cocktail in the Monkey Bar on the 8th floor of the hotel. But privately I love bars with something special, the Bumann & SOHN in Ehrenfeld always has something to offer. From live concerts to a Christmas market; there’s something for everyone.

Running, roaming and relaxing

I like to go jogging in the various parks in the city. Butto just go for a walk is also very lovely! For me, the most beautiful route leads from the Aachener Weiher past the Lindenthal canals to the city forest in the Lindenthal animal park. Admission is free here, and you can watch all kinds of animals up close, feed them and sometimes even stroke them. From here, I like to continue to the Adenauerweiher at the FC Stadium or to the Decksteiner Weiher, where you can walk through chestnut avenues and watch swans and ducks on the pond. It is especially beautiful here at sunset!

Food & Drink

If you like French cuisine, you should definitely visit Bagatelle in Südstadt — there’s something for everyone on the menu and the tapas concept invites you to share! Balinese food is available not far from the 25hours at Warung Bayu in the Belgian Quarter. There are many coffees from small roasters in Cologne. By chance, I once ended up at the Mahou coffee roastery in Cologne Wahn, which is so far second to none with its small-batch roasted coffee and in-house chocolate specialities!
