Cate Evens is a trained musical theatre performer and a prizewinner of the German national competition Jugend musiziert. She has celebrated great success on renowned stages in productions such as Tanz der Vampire, Rent, Chicago, and many more.
Today, she passionately dedicates herself to the genres of jazz, swing, and chanson, where she has developed a distinctive artistic profile with her expressive voice and strong stage presence. Her repertoire ranges from classic jazz and swing songs by icons like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, to contemporary rock and pop songs reinterpreted in an elegant vintage style inspired by Postmodern Jukebox, as well as powerfully staged chansons by Edith Piaf.
