Magic Barbès is a festival co-created each year with the communities and local stakeholders of La Goutte d’Or residents, artists, associations, and local organizations. Together, they curate a wide range of events (music, theatre, food, literature, sports, and more) that reflect the neighborhood’s diversity. The festival highlights individual initiatives and collective engagement while celebrating the creative and inclusive energy of Barbès.

In 2026, Magic Barbès continues to “shine a light” on the neighborhood, its people, and the initiatives growing within it.

As part of the festival, enjoy a vibrant DJ set accompanied live by saxophonist Jonathan Pailler. A musical journey through timeless classics and contemporary sounds; from hip-hop to neo-soul, alongside R&B, funk, jazz, afrobeat, and Caribbean music; creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Join us at the Sape Bar from 7 PM.

This event also celebrates the 7th anniversary of WeeKult., an independent media outlet dedicated to Afro and contemporary cultures, committed to promoting artists and emerging creative scenes.
