Between the Elbphilharmonie and Elbbrücken, in the heart of the HafenCity, from now on there will be screaming, talking, whispering and spitting, rhyming and floating around, paraphrasing and embellishing, rapping – and above all, slamming!

Because where posh apartments, tourist attractions and the city’s most expensive bakery shake hands with hip bowl restaurants, a little subcultural verve, a little spoken riot, a little extravaganza in verbal guise is also needed. That’s why a poetry slam in the finest flophouse in the district makes a great idea!

We add two hours to it and treat ourselves to an unparalleled spoken word event. Because “Slam What…!?” is neither about time nor space, but about the most beautiful stories, the craziest poems, the nicest rhymes and the most banging punchlines!
Very classic in format with a jury from the audience and with moderator David Friedrich who brings a little fresh wind into the air corridors of Hafencity. With four fantastic slammers, he creates a rousing evening with the sounds of the Elbe in the background and a hint of salt in the air, and on the lips.
