A perfect day in the life of
Steffen Goubeaud
Start your day right
After a sourdough bread with cress and quark at mehlwassersalz near the cathedral, it’s off to the Kleinmarkthalle for another espresso, to meet friends and find inspiration for the next dinner at home. A short detour to the Japanese patisserie IImori is a must beforehand. Along the banks of the Main, we then head over to Sachsenhausen and the Museum Applied Arts, which always has something new to offer and never gets boring.

Lunchtime
After a light but spicy snack at Aroydee at the Eschenheimer Turm, I go for a walk and relax in the 29-hectare Grüneburgpark with a stroll through the Palmengarten to clear the head once and for all. Afterwards, things can get more entertaining and rustic again. A quick chat and cider at the bar of the legendary Moseleck in the railway station district is a must. There’s no more authentic and cordial way to experience the gossip of Frankfurt city life. A quick espresso around the corner at Plank before the evening can begin.

In the evening
First, for the Meet&Greet, I’ll go „corner“ with friends. Kiosk YOK YOK is one of the best-known kiosks in Frankfurt and beyond. Everyone who appreciates the diversity of a big city feels comfortable and welcome in front of this trendy meeting place. A quick beer can quickly turn into three, which is why it’s important to time your exit well. Head to Yaldy, a casual, productcentred fine dining address whose menu is constantly full of new surprises. Depending on your mood, you can finish off with a drink at the Tiny Cup or at the Embury Bar, which has as many whiskies to choose from as Frankfurt has facets.
— Yok Yok. Münchener Straße 32
— Yaldy. Moselstrasse 15
— Tiny Cup. Mainkai 4
