The Copenhagen Classic Book Book Club is stopping by 25hours Hotel Indre By for an afternoon of stories, conversation and calm reflection. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’re a regular or simply feel like spending a thoughtful moment with fellow readers in a cosy setting.
This time, the group is reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. First published in 1937, the novel follows Janie Crawford on her journey toward self-discovery, independence and finding her own voice. Set in early 20th-century Florida, it is a powerful coming-of-age story that has since become a cornerstone of American and African-American literature.
The meet-up takes place on Saturday, 21. March from 4pm to 5.30pm in the Fireplace Lounge at 25hours Hotel Indre By, Pilestræde 65.
