After a long night of partying hard, everybody needs a little relaxation. At Flora and the Botanical Garden, I can really switch off from the daily grind. The marvellous colours, over 10,000 plants (some of them exotic), and the tropical and desert zones are basically like a little world tour of nature.

You can find the best breakfasts at Hinz und Kunz in Lindenthal. My current favourite restaurant is Johann Schäfer in the south of Cologne. The young, modern brewery offers delicious, home-made regional and seasonal specialties. The home-brewed beer also comes highly recommended. In the evening, the restaurant Limbourg in the Belgian Quarter is the perfect location to sit and watch the world go by. The restaurant is renowned for their fresh, regional cuisine and tasteful décor. If you like it a little more exotic, the African restaurant Shaka Zulu is the place to be.
