Perfect Sunday
One should visit the Zoo at least once, after enjoying the marvelous views over the Tiergarten from the hotel. Alternatively, sleep in on Sundays and start the day with an extensive breakfast at the street food market in the Kulturbrauerei. After that, wander through Prenzlauer Berg and the Mauerpark and finish with the obligatory ice cream from Kleine Eiszeit.

Active families
Particularly active kids and their families go to the Tegel Leisure Park for a run around. Of course, it also has some lovely spots where you can relax in peace and quiet. Playgrounds or the pedal boats, there’s something to do for everybody here. The amenities are surrounded by the beautiful natural greenery and the water, which makes the park pleasantly cool in the summer.

Kinderspiel
If the weather’s nice and you’ve got time, the Princess Garden at Moritzplatz is perfect. There are some great activities for the children, for example building greenhouses or planting herbs. On miserable days,a visit to the Museum for Communication can save spirits being dampened. Here, both the children and adults can learn the exciting technology and history behind communications.

Perfect view…
The best place to view the former listening post on Teufelsberg is from the Monkey Bar terrace, where it peeks out from between the two adjacent high-rises. A stroll through Grunewald forest and the view from the top are reason enough to make the pilgrimage. And the street art covering the old ruins makes the visit truly unique.
