As General Manager, Dutch born Bart is responsible for the 25hours Hotel Piazza San Paolino in Florence. Bart has 30 years of international experience in the hospitality buisness and has worked in countries such as the UK, Aruba, the USA, Belgium and Holland. After 16 years with Starwood, The St. Regis and the Luxury Collection, he has specialised in opening properties for private owners, among which Castello di Casole in Tuscany and Palazzo Parigi in Milan. He has held management positions in Sales & Marketing, and managed properties in Rome, Sardinia, Milan, Florence and Tuscany. He has been a resident of Florence since 2011.
