Food and drinks
Creative menu, young team, warm hosts. Always with vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Uncomplicated and good, the Weisses Rössli is my favorite place for a dinner for two.
— Weisses Rössli. Bederstrasse 96, 8002 Zürich
Don’t miss
Every Saturday between 7am and 2pm, the Kanzlei flea market takes place across from Helvetiaplatz. You can find everything from fur coats to kitchen utensils, leather bags and jewelry. Shhhh…..the greatest treasures are found early in the morning!
— Kanzlei flea market. Helvetiaplatz, 8004 Zürich
And what else?
Do you like Mediterranean flair? Then head to the Seerose on Lake Zurich in Wollishofen, where you can eat right by the water. Arriving by boat? No problem thanks to their own harbor.
— Seerose. Seestrasse 493, 8038 Zürich
Dance baby
Hive I would call a piece of Berlin in Zurich, great DJ‘s, awesome parties. There‘s always something going on at Plaza, from karaoke to burlesque shows.
— Hive. Geroldstrasse 5, 8005 Zürich
— Plaza. Badenerstrasse 109, 8004 Zürich
Beyond the city borders
To really experience the gateway to the world, Zurich Airport, the best thing you can do is get in the saddle and go on an adventure tour. You can cycle around the airport in two to three hours. The 16-kilometer route runs along the airport grounds through one of the largest nature reserves in the canton. Directly above your heads, jets take off every two minutes.
