Virgile began his DJ career in the ’90s, inspired by US Deep House and Garage as these sounds made their way into Europe. Growing up in northern France, he was influenced by the club scenes of Paris and Nantes, discovering Tribal House, Garage and Disco.
From 1996 to 2002, he performed as DJ Balou, sharing line-ups with renowned DJs such as Kerri Chandler, Mike Dunn and Laurent Garnier in international clubs. After a professional break, he returned to the Cologne club scene in 2020. His current sets blend Deep House, Disco, Vocal House, Tech and Garage.
