Globetrotter x 25hours Rooftop Camping Experience

for one night only: turning our rooftop into an urban camping adventure

On 6 June 2026, we’ll team up with our good friends from outdoor specialist Globetrotter and hammock expert Antje Prütz to create an experience the 25hours Hotel The Trip hasn’t seen before. For the Frankfurt Rooftop Day, the hotel’s rooftop turns into an urban camping adventure. Join us for inspiring talks about exploring the outside, stay for a hands-on workshop on how to hammock, and if you feel really adventurous, book your space for a night below skyline and stars, sleeping in a hammock or a tent, on our rooftop in the heart of the city.

4 – 5.45pm // first adventure

Hammock expert Antje Prütz shares stories from her numerous outdoor adventures from Baltic Sea to Alpine crossing, opening up a whole new perspective on outdoor exploration. Afterward, she shares her practical expertise in a concise, hands-on workshop, explaining the essential things to keep in mind when spending the night outdoors in a hammock. The Rooftop Bar will be open, a selection of drinks available. The ticket price includes a Globetrotter camping mug as well as the 25hours Hotel The Trip’s water flat. // €5 per person, hotel guests may join for free

6 – 7.45pm // second adventure

We repeat the program from the first adventure, only two hours later. So, if you are interested in the talk and workshop led by hammock expert Antje Prütz, feel free to book either first or second adventure. The Rooftop Bar remains open, drinks available. The ticket price includes a Globetrotter camping mug as well as the 25hours Hotel The Trip’s water flat. // €5 per person, hotel guests may join for free

8pm – noon, next day // staying overnight on the rooftop

Now, for ten guests, a truly unique night at the 25hours Hotel The Trip begins. After a welcome drink at the Rooftop Bar, Antje Prütz kicks off an outdoor cooking workshop with the clear goal of providing inspiration while ensuring everyone is full and happy. Next, it’s time to head for the hammocks. Antje will provide a comprehensive explanation of their proper use and features, ensuring everyone is fully prepared for a night spent beneath the skyline and the stars, in either hammock (up to six guests) or tent (up to 2x 2 guests). Quiet hours begin at 10.30pm. Or at least, as quiet as things can possibly get in Frankfurt’s Bahnhofsviertel district, six floors above Bar Shuka and right next door to Pracht. Don’t worry though. If the atmosphere remains a bit too lively or if the weather simply turns too unpleasant, a hotel room as a backup plan is included in the price.
