20-cent-auction

auctioning off the lost & found, starting at 20 cent a pop

We’re celebrating sustainability by auctioning off the best items from The Goldman’s lost-and-found, as well as discarded objects from daily hotel operations, with a starting bid of just 20 cents. There will also be five “mystery bags”, containing items that remain a surprise until the winning bid is placed.

Additionally, we reserved five slots for guests to bring along an item of their own, something they’ve wanted to part with but haven’t yet found the right opportunity to do so. If the object has a special story behind it, guests are welcome to share it.

All proceeds from the evening will go to our “Monthly Charity”, which, for September, is HateAid. In return, we’re treating the five guests contribution an item to a drink at the Oost Bar. Please note that only cash payments are accepted for the auction itself, whereas food and drinks at the Oost Bar can be paid for by card as usual.

6pm – 7pm // viewing of items
7pm – 9.30pm // auction at the Oost Bar

A total of approximately 40 items will be auctioned, including the five guest-contributed items and five mystery bags.

Hotel guests are invited to join spontaneously for free, just swing by the Oost Bar.
