Artist in Residence

Like every summer, four international artists are invited to take part in a vibrant residency. They stay at the hotel and transform the Atelier into their personal studio space. To wrap things up, Open Studio events offer a glimpse behind the scenes. Visitors are welcome to drop by, discover the artworks created during the residency, meet the artists, and enjoy cheesecake, snacks, and a glass of bubbly.
Xinyi Fox Hu’s ceramics unfold like fragments of an imagined world filled with fairylike forms, organic bodies, and mythical creatures.
Her works explore the space between fantasy and reality, creating stories of evolving species and unfamiliar living ecosystems.
From 29 June to 11 July 2026, she will be Artist in Residence at 25hours Hotel Langstrasse in collaboration with Sinokultur Zurich. Guests are invited to visit the Open Studio on Saturday, 11 July, from 4–7pm.
