The German Customs Museum is located in the historic Speicherstadt, right at the entrance to HafenCity. It invites visitors to vividly explore the world of customs officers who have collected and enforced customs duties, as well as those who have tried to avoid them through smuggling. Housed in the former customs office known as Kornhausbrücke, the museum presents the history of customs from its beginnings in ancient times to the present day of German and European customs.
