The Berlin Zoo has been an integral part of the city for more than 175 years and is a real landmark of the capital. Germany’s oldest zoo not only delights Berliners, but also attracts guests from all over the world, who come here for an exciting journey of discovery into the animal world.

From the Monkey Bar on the 10th floor of the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, you have an unobstructed view of the zoo and the monkey enclosure. The proximity inspired the Berlin team to sponsor the Berlin Zoo and the female monkey Bini.

Bini was born on 4 October 1980 and lives with the two other Sumatran orangutans Bulan and Mano in the Berlin Zoo. Bini is a very kind-hearted mother monkey who lovingly takes care of her offspring.

In 2018, the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin took over the sponsorship. The income from the Monkey Bar cocktail ‘Bini’s Monkey Pokey’ finances the sponsorship.
