Hierbei beschr\u00e4nken sich die Themenfelder nicht allein auf das Leben unter und auf dem Wasser. Das Meer und sein Einfluss auf die Menschen wird hier in einem umfassendenSinne behandelt. Mit ihrem individuellen Stil portr\u00e4tieren die Fotografendas Leben an und in den Weltmeeren. Landschaftsaufnahmenfinden ebenso Eingang wie eindrucksvolle Tierfotografien und Aufnahmen von Menschen, deren Leben das Meer bestimmt. Nikolaus Gelpke sammelt seit Anbeginn gro\u00dfformatige Abz\u00fcge von den besten Bildserien, die in der Zeitschrift ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurden. Als My Favourites wurden die Bilder bisher auf Wanderausstellungen einem breiten Publikum vorgestellt. Der zeitlose Art-d\u00e9co-Saal ist genau das richtige f\u00fcr besondere Anl\u00e4sse. Tags\u00fcber kann man hier verschiedene Kaffeer\u00f6stereien besuchen und auch das ber\u00fchmte Miniatur Wunderland liegt hier. Abends sind die alten Backsteingeb\u00e4ude an den Fleeten hell erleuchtet und sind einfach atemberaubend sch\u00f6n. Sogar die New York Times empfehlen den Elbstrand als eines dersch\u00f6nsten europ\u00e4ischen Reiseziele \u2013 wenn das nichts hei\u00dft!
