Das Z\u00fcrcher Kuratoren-Team Seline F\u00fclscher und Wagner&amp;Friends haben die K\u00fcnstlerin und ihre Partnerin, Grafikdesignerin Jimena Pons, nach Z\u00fcrich eingeladen.<br>Die Anrufung der Ahnen und die Fr\u00fcchte der Erde sind Elemente der rituellen Maya Kultur und tauchen ebenso in Marilyn Boror Bors zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kunstpraxis auf, in Malerei, Publikation, Fotografie, Installation und Performance. Ihre Werke sind Projekte der Selbsterm\u00e4chtigung, der Analyse und Bewahrung des Denkens und der Sprache der indigenen Maya-Kaqchikel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Zum Abschluss der Hotel Residence pr\u00e4sentieren Marilyn Boror Bor und Jimena Pons im Atelier Arbeiten und Recherchen, die w\u00e4hrend ihres Aufenthalts entstanden sind, unter anderem eine Konfektion \u201ePralinen\u201c mit Kakaobohnen aus Guatemala, gegossen in Schweizer Zement.
