Born in France, Parisian at heart

A cultural hub

Paris is a multicultural city — and a wonderful place for walking. The architecture is very beautiful, and you can discover all the culture through the buildings. It is a cultural capital with all sorts of museums and theatres. I think the most beautiful place to visit is the “Ecole des Beaux-Arts”, where you can see life through a student’s eyes and then go to visit the exhibitions. It is opposite the famous Louvre museum in the Saint-Germain des Prés area.

Louvre. Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris.
Ecole des Beaux-Arts. 14 Rue Bonaparte, 75006 Paris.
Château de Versailles. Place d’Armes, 78000 Versailles.
— Sacré-Coeur. 35 Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, 75018 Paris.
— Jardin du Luxembourg. Paris 6ème, 75006 Paris.

And about the dancefloor

— Le Divan du Monde. 75 Rue des Martyrs, 75018 Paris.
— Le Serpent à Plumes. 24 Place des Vosges, 75003 Paris.

With a good appetite

For food and drinks, I love rue Montorgueil, near the Halles area, because it’s charming and full of energy, with its restaurants, cocktail bars and little shops.

Little Italy Caffé. 92 Rue Montorgueil, 75002 Paris.
— Presto Fresco. 14 Rue Montmartre, 75001 Paris.
— La Perla restaurant italien. 5 Rue Montorgueil, 75001 Paris.
— Hide Pub. 46 Rue des Lombards, 75001 Paris.

I love French specialties (that’s her proud side coming out) with an Asian touch, which is always a good idea. Here are my favourite restaurants, from the most traditional to the more hipster:

Le Richer. 2 Rue Richer, 75009 Paris.
— Le Petit Marché. 9 Rue du Béarn, 75003 Paris.
— La Bourse et La Vie. 12 Rue vivienne, 75002 Paris.
— La Maison Lautrec. 63 Rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, 75009 Paris
